Artista

Milvia Quadrio is an all-around artist
with a lifelong aesthetic calling to sculpture and painting. She has always considered life, art and work as an indivisible whole and has experimented with every sort of technique and material in her decades of research into a wide range of artistic solutions.

Life and training
Milvia was born in 1936 in Campo Blenio, Switzerland. She attended the San Giuseppe in Lugano and the Istituto Moderno in Bellinzona, and later the Academy of Fine Arts in Montecarlo, where she studied under Claude Rotischer. She has worked across Europe and the Mideast, residing for periods in Belgium and Lebanon. Milvia lives and works in Olivone, Switzerland. Since her first exhibit in 1967, her work has been shown in many countries.
